AARON BLABEY
Aaron is one of the world’s most prolific children’s authors, with more than 55 million books in print across his multiple best-selling series and an impressive 150+ week run on the New York Times bestseller list.
Long time champions of brilliant literature, Foundation Media was able to see the power of Aaron’s storytelling and convert him into a name through traditional entertainment avenues. The Bad Guys was Blabey’s first property to make its way to the big screen, releasing at #1 at the box office with DreamWorks in 2022. The appetite for more Bad Guys content was so undeniable that it eventually resulted in multiple holiday specials, an animated series in the pipeline, and a feature sequel slated for an August 2025 release
Thelma the Unicorn was the second of Blabey’s properties Foundation took into the marketplace, first attaching beloved filmmakers Jared & Jerusha Hess. The animated feature released with Netflix in May of 2024 and spent nearly a month as the streamers #2 title.
Most recently, Blabey’s property Pig the Pug has caught the eye of one of Hollywood’s last reigning movie stars, Mark Wahlberg. Together with Leverage, Foundation Media is actively packaging the project and laying the groundwork for another bidding war.
Having reached the level of success in the children’s space, Blabey now looks to move into middle grade and YA titles. This has resulted in multiple 8 figure publishing offers, reaching unprecedented figures in the publishing space across all categories.
