Harvey Russell is the Chief Operating Officer at Foundation Media, bringing a wealth of experience across music, television, publishing, and entertainment. With a career that spans multiple industries, Harvey has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and expansion.Since the inception of Foundation Media, Harvey has played a key role in major partnerships, including the collaboration with Macmillan Publishing and signing high-profile talent like Latin superstar Ozuna for the upcoming graphic novel Bori 747. He has also worked with Australian author Anh Do on several literary and creative projects. As a producer, Harvey has contributed to projects like Heroes of Lucha Libre, Unstuffed: A Build-A-Bear Story, and is currently focused on Foundation Media’s latest project, Wolf Girl.
Before relocating to the U.S., Harvey built strong industry connections in Australia, including partnerships with pop star Jason Derulo and signing the Australian girl group Trinity. He also co-created and co-produced the TV series The Business of Dance.
As Vice President of A&R at PLW Entertainment in Melbourne, Harvey was instrumental in launching the career of Australian artist Borne. Borne’s debut album reached #13 on the U.S. Billboard chart, and their hit single “The Guide” became WWE’s theme song for its 25th anniversary. The track was also featured in popular TV shows like Friday Night Lights, Army Wives, and The Philanthropist. Harvey also managed the Australian rock band Juke Kartel, who were named Independent Australian Artist of the Year in 2009.
Since moving to the U.S. in 2009, Harvey has been at the forefront of several high-profile music publishing deals at Foundation Media, including partnerships with Warner Chappell Music Publishing. Notable deals include Latin icon Marco Antonio Solis, “STAY” (The Kid Laroi ft. Justin Beiber) producer Haan, and multi-platinum songwriter/producer Cromo X. Harvey’s strategic vision continues to drive success across diverse entertainment sectors.
