Patrick Hughes is a dynamic producer, brand builder, and media executive with a passion for bold storytelling. As the founder and CEO of Foundation Media Partners, he has built a multifaceted entertainment company that develops original IP, produces film and television, and forges strategic partnerships across publishing, consumer products, and global brands.
A graduate of the American Film Institute, Hughes began his career representing the creator of the then unsold “Real Housewives” and then launching an industry leading management and literary firm. He has produced a range of acclaimed projects including The Bad Guys (DreamWorks), Thelma the Unicorn (Netflix), Honey Girls (Sony/Netflix), Killing Hasselhoff (Universal) and Picture This (MGM). He also represents top creators like NYT best-selling author Aaron Blabey and oversees brand partnerships with clients such as Build-A-Bear Workshop, Simon & Schuster, and Varsity Spirit.
Outside the industry, Hughes co-founded Global Kidney Health, a non-profit dedicated to advancing kidney research and care, and serves as an advisor to UCLA’s CORE KIDNEY. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and is driven by a love of storytelling, playing piano, community service, motorcycles, racing cars, and his wonderful family.
